  • Sr. Aisha Al-Adawiya spoke at the the Fist ISNA Diversity in Islam Forum, held in Detroit in January, 2011 and the Annual RIS Conference in Canada in December.
  • Sarah Sayeed, President, delivered a presentation at the International Symposium on Civilization and Values, The Istanbul Approach, held in Istanbul Turkey, in December, 2010.
  • Board member Muniba Hassan and Sarah Sayeed, President, recently presented the religious, historical, and contemporary dimensions of Muslim women's experiences to the Larchmont Interfaith Council.
  • In partnership with The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Women In Islam, Inc. facilitated a workshop on Islam and Muslim women for NYC Public School teachers.
